04/07/25: With thunderstorms threatening all morning, Natalia and I tried to go as fast as possible. At the ridge, opted to scramble up the nearby peak of Wayra Urqu instead of our original objective (Rucu). A large storm came in quickly, pelting us with big balls of hail. Left behind a beautiful blanket of snow - the deepest I’ve seen so far in my time here.
